TOUCH SCREEN

The foyer displays paintings from the first half of the 19th century: a view of the south side of Asti cathedral by Giovanni Migliara (Alessandria 1785 – 1837), datable to the 1830s,  and Ruth, a watercolour painted by Francesco Hayez after 1853.

There are also two sculptures by Giulio Monteverde (Bistagno 1837 – London 1917): a bust portraying his father-in-law (1850s), and The Sleepwalker, (pre-1880), a model for the Catania monument to Vincenzo Bellini.
