The Crucifix by Leonardo Bistolfi (Casale Monferrato 1859 – Turin 1933), a plaster cast of the 1901 bronze made for the tomb of Riccardo Brayda in Villarbasse cemetery, looms on the rear wall. Portraits by Giuseppe Manzone, where the posed figures evoke 15th-century portraiture, are exhibited alongside canvases by Giovanni Rovero, Luigi Onetti and Andrea Pistarino, whose portrait of his mother intent on her crochet shows he was inspired by the work of Felice Casorati.
